Suraj Vyas works with Homeless Persons Representation Project in its mission to end homelessness in Maryland by counseling and representing those who need their criminal record expunged. There are many who have been arrested, but never convicted of any sort of crime who are turned down for jobs because their arrest record pops up when a prospective employer does a background check. Some of these arrested people are never even CHARGED with a crime!

Mr. Vyas is passionate about being able to directly represent those who have been wronged by this system and attack one of the largest root causes of homelessness.
